The Work, The Fees, The Language

Galvani Legal practices only intellectual property law – not personal injury, not criminal law, not corporate law, not insurance – just intellectual property. If you have a question about patents, trademarks, copyright, or some other area of intellectual property, browse the site, check out the blog, or give me a call. If you need work done, rest assured: you will almost always be charged flat fees instead of hourly rates to give you predictability in your budget. When a matter does require hourly fees, it won’t be a surprise to you.

The firm understands there is a time for English and a time for technical writing. You won’t be confronted with confusing legalese, academic case law analogies, or other material that doesn’t explain the work. Instead, you’ll get everyday language to explain the legal theories behind your work, and the legal jargon will be saved for internal analyses and official communications (though, if you want it, I’m happy to share it). And lastly, the firm returns calls – it just does.

About The Firm

Galvani Legal LLC is a single-attorney firm dedicated to providing its clients with personal, understandable, and proficient service. The firm offers patent, trademark, and copyright solutions to independent inventors, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses. Arizona patent attorney Tom Galvani formed the firm during economic recession for several reasons.

First, he started and designed the firm to help passionate entrepreneurs realize their dreams. His vision is a law firm whose product is not a patent grant or trademark registration, but a dream attained. Through listening to you, to what your goals are, what your future plans encompass, and what your possibilities are on the horizon, Tom provides representation that goes beyond the intellectual property commodity other firms procure. The firm provides counsel that surrounds your questions, concerns, and development.

Second, he created Galvani Legal to challenge the traditional law firm model and prove that caliber and cost need not have a direct relationship. The firm is less expensive, more transparent, and more responsive than many other firms. Combining the heart of a small-town Midwesterner with the technological savvy of a West Coast engineer, Galvani Legal provides you with quality and professionalism without the price of a big law firm.
